wetjet new style pads and solution
I have always washed my floors on my hands and knees but was given a swiffer wetjet almost 10 years ago. I loved it. The only thing I am unhappy with now is the new pads. They do not aborb as well nor do they pick up grime as well. My favorite solution is the original mulitpurpose.

When I first got my WetJet I thought it was great. Easy to use, faster than mopping and dried much quicker. My disappointment came after I had used it for a couple of months. First of all, while putting a little extra pressure for a spot on my ceramic tile, the handle broke. It is now taped and still usable but is inconvenient. But the most disturbing aspect of using the WetJet came later. After I had just finished cleaning the kitchen floor, I dropped something on the surface. When I used a paper towel to clean the drop it came up with grime other than the dropped substance. I tried other areas and the paper towel almost turned black. I still use the Swiffer but no longer think it so great.

We've had a single nozzle Wetjet for a few years and have always been pleased with it. It finally died so my wife bought a new model yesterday which happens to have two nozzles. Only one nozzle worked. Tried three different sets of batteries to no avail. I took it back today and exchanged it for another. Same problem. I noticed that this isn't uncommon when I googled the problem. I don't know why Swiffer chose to "improve" on a successful product to the point of failure. I'll take this back tomorrow for a refund and go back to an old fashioned mop. Not as convenient but no nozzles to clog

Cheaply made and breaks quickly
I bought a new house with a lot of hardwood flooring, about 1 1/2 years ago, and have already been through 2 Swiffer Wet Jets. The first one lasted almost a year and then just stopped spraying. The second one was broken when I bought it, one of the nozzles did not spray at all from the very first use. Very cheaply made product.I'm going back to using a good old mop and pail.

Disappointed and upset with Swiffer WetJet
I am upset that I am not able to use my own floor cleaner with my Swiffer Wet Jet. I had wanted to use Murphy's oil soap solution to maintain the shine. The solution from Swiffer leaves the floor dull looking. In fact, I was told to use Murphy's oil soap by the company where I bought the flooring.
Also, I need to insert batteries every time I use this item.
The item is made very cheap; the one jet stopped working properly the second time I used it.
I am very unhappy; however, this company apparently makes no guarantee that customers will be satisfied or give a refund.
Between replacing pads with new ones, solution, and batteries, it will cost me approx. $6 - $8 every day to clean my floors. (The pads get dirty quickly and need replaced often or they just spread the dirt around.)

Ive purchased 2 wet jets. Both handles have broken in the same spot. I tried to contact p&g, but my tough luck, I did not keep my receipt. P&g wouldn't even mail me a coupon as I have wet jet refills that now are no use to me. Disappointed in product manufacturing as well as customer service.

I am on my third Swiffer wet jet. I do ike the product very much but I have had trouble with the ejection holes getting clogged up. Is there a secret to cleaning them correctly so this doesn't keep happening. Please inform me on what to do. Thank you.
