4th Broken Handle
I am having to replace my swiffer wet jet ONCE AGAIN. The handle has broken right below the button. This is the 5th swiffer I've had. When I complain, they typically send me a coupon to replace it, but how many times am I going to have to do this? I'm very grateful that the replacement is free, but it's so inconvenient, especially when trying to mop your floors & the handle is hanging there. Swiffer stands by their product & states that they are made for scrubbing. However, I wasn't scrubbing too hard, just applied a little more pressure on a certain spot and it broke in half. I love the convenience of the mop, not necessarily the price of the pads, but it works for what I need it for. Just unhappy with the handle.

A True Life Saver!!
I'll start by saying that I've used quite a lot of Swiffer products, and have loved them all: the sweeper, the dust buster, and of course the cleaners and such. BUT when my husband and I moved into an ALL TILE house, we knew we'd have to try the WetJet. Needless to say it saved us SO much time, and effort into not having to mop every day. And just recently we were able to move out of the house, the WetJet was able to get the floors right back to prestine condition! I was SO glad that you've teamed up with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to make some amazing Extra Power Pads. The only issue i had was when having to really scrub on a particular stain, the handle broke. But other than that it was an amazing product!

swiffer wet jet
A complete failure of the wetjet -- it doesn't spray even with the bottle installed properly - don't buy this product --- I repeat, don't buy this product....I had to get a spray bottle and fill it with my cleaner and then mop. Imagine, a mop that doesn't work -- how could we have declined so badly in engineering simple things.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
After several months the handle broke on our first swiffer. Thinking it was just a fluke we bought another one. That one broke after only 2 uses. Will not buy another. Waste of money.

spray nozzles get plugged up, seem unfixable,
My Wetjet's spray nozzles (pump action - no battery) aren't working. One is stopped completely, the other partially. Tried to open the holes with a pin - no improvement; can't open the casing to get at the nozzles. It takes forever to clean the floor with only one partially working nozzle, and the cleaner fluid backs up in the head and drips when I pick up the mop to put it away.
I've used it maybe 30 times on my kitchen floor, (No kids, no pets, ordinary cleaning job). It costs too much to replace it every six months. So far I haven't been able tofigure out how to contact someone in the company who can tell me how to unplug the nozzles.

Makes Small Puddles... Like My Dog
I had high hopes for this product. I wanted something quick and easy to use. It didn't work. Or maybe I should correct myself... only one side kind of sort of work! No matter how much you push the button the darn thing won't spray. It just squirts a small puddle on the floor, just like my small old incontinent dog I'm trying to clean up after. Then after a day of not trying to use it stopped squirting all together. To bad the dog hasn't stopped.
I should have read the reviews.

Handle Broke and Home Fix
I recently bought the Swifter Wetjet and have been very happy with it until the handle broke after very few uses. I thought about replacing the handle but I decided to repair it myself. I bought a 45 degree PVC Conduit Tube, a door bell button and a 13/16 spade bit. I removed the existing handle from the mop, (There are 4 screws total) Two in the handle, I below the switch cover and one at the end of the handle) I fitted the PVC Conduit over the existing mop and drilled a hole for a round door bell button and cut the existing switch from the mop and connected the wires to the door bell button and inserted into the hole I drilled. I fitted a wood plug at the end of PVC Conduit. The handle works perfect and will not break. (I had to drill the end of the conduit to 13/16 to fit over the mop pipe.) The 45 degree PVC Conduit fit very tight on the mop so no screws or fastners of any sort was needed.
