Tom Gunderson is a professional animal trainer and groomer who handles celebrity animals for major motion picture films. Tom was born in Albert Lea, MN and began his animal studies in 1987 at the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College in California. Since then, Tom has lived and worked with various types of animals including: dogs, squirrels, raccoons, foxes, chimpanzees, orangutans and alligators.
Of late, Tom has worked with celebrity pups on the set of “Hotel for Dogs,” “The Dark Knight,” “The Shaggy Dog” and “101 Dalmatians.” Additionally, Tom has had national and local media appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Good Day LA,” “Mike and Maty” and “Magic Hour.” Most recently, Tom lent his expertise for a photo shoot with Jen Anniston and her pup from the movie “Marley and Me” to be featured in Premiere Magazine. |
